Program Outline Academic Programs S.A.L.T. 's programs of study are designed to train men and women for effective Christian ministry. Attention is given to working with each student individually on their own academic level. We believe that anyone, who really has a heart's desire to know the Lord, can be taught to understand and personally apply the truths of God's Word. S.A.L.T. offers two programs of study. One Year Certificate Program This program has been designed for the person who wishes to receive instruction and gain knowledge in the basic content of the Scriptures. For those who wish to continue into the Diploma Program, S.A.L.T. grants full credits for the one year program. Thus, you can continue into the second year of studies. In order to receive the One Year Certificate, you must complete 45 credits with an average mark of 57%. Diploma in Theology Program This program will provide the student with an excellent knowledge of the Bible and practical experience for ministry. Upon completion of this program, you would be eligible to apply for credentials with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. After a minimum of three years of full-time ministry, you would then be eligible to apply for ordination. Students graduating from the diploma program will be prepared to take positions in pastoral, missionary, Christian education, evangelism and youth ministries. In order to receive a Diploma in Theology, you must complete 90 credits with an average mark of 57%.
